Jan 21, 2020 Q: Can I install Cultured Stone over cement board? A: This is an evolving installation technique that is designed to remove the steps of lath and scratch coat. Cement board may be used in place of lath and scratch coat, if desired. Do not use conventional mortars (Type S or N) with cement board installations.
